
Grilled Marinated Tuna
1/3c soy sauce
1/3c teriyaki sauce
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4c dry sherry
2tbl finely chopped fresh ginger
1/4c Chopped green onions
1 Garlic clover, finely chopped
Pinch Cayenne pepper
2tbl freshly ground pepper
1# prime yellow fin tuna (deep red in color), cut into 2 steaks, each 2-2.5 inches thick
1. Marinate tuna for at least 5 hours or over night, turning periodically
2. Combine the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, sherry, fresh ginger, green onions, garlic, cayenne, and pepper into a large glass or ceramic dish
3. Add the tuna
4. Preheat the grill for 15 minutes of unitl it is as hot as possible
5. Grill tuna approximately 1-2 minutes on all sides, or until outside is charred brown and the center is barely cooked
