Each day during the contest period beginning on August 1, 2007 all qualifiers’ names will be entered in a random drawing to determine the grand prize winner, including a grand prize winner determined on March 8, 2008. The random drawing of one name from all qualifiers will be accomplished by Bob Redfern Outdoors Magazine (the "Administrator") and the winner will be notified by phone or email.
If the first person selected to win the grand prize is not eligible or elects not to accept the prize, a drawing from the remaining daily qualifiers will be conducted by Administrator to determine the grand prize winner. This process will continue until a grand prize winner is selected.
PRIZES:
GRAND PRIZE:
A Fishing or Hunting trip with Bob Redfern in the SE United States on a mutually agreed upon date. The selection of the type of trip will be at the discretion of Administrator and the winner will be notified of the type of trip selected.
$300.00 prize package consisting of assorted outdoor items by sponsors of Bob Redfern’s Outdoor Magazine Television Series.
All travel related expenses are not included. Certain restrictions may apply. Payment of any additional expenses, are solely the responsibility of the winner. Photo ID will be required and verified prior to scheduling the grand prize trip.
ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE OR WIN. Void where prohibited.
Contestants and members of their family/household may only qualify once during the contest period.
Must be 21 years of age or older to enter, qualify, and/or win.
Open only to residents who live in the 50 United States and Washington D.C.
Grand prize winner must provide name, address, phone number, date of birth, and Social Security number.
CONDITIONS:
All prizes are non-refundable, non-redeemable, and non-transferable. No cash substitution will be available. Prizes may be substituted should they be unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of Administrator.
If the grand prize winner does not elect to use his/her prize, he or she forfeits any rights to the prize, which will remain the property of Administrator. Should the grand prize be forfeited, Administrator may re-allocate the trip in its sole discretion.
Winners are solely responsible for all income, Federal, state, and local taxes that are applicable. Value of prizes exceeding $600.00 or an aggregate of $600.00 or more won in station-conducted contests during any one calendar year period is reported to the Internal Revenue Service as additional income received. The amount reported to the IRS for income tax purposes will be the fair market value of the prize at the time the contest is initiated, or as soon thereafter as an accurate determination of value can be made. Fair market value is determined by Administrator in its sole discretion. The grand prize winner must pick up the prize packet, sign a liability release form, and complete a W9 form for reporting to the IRS. Any prizes not claimed will become the property of Administrator. Winners will be required to sign a liability release form relieving Administrator and Chevrolet Motor Division, General Motors Corporation of any liability for damage or harm winner might incur in claiming or using the prize. Failure to sign the release form will result in forfeiture of the prize.
Valid identification (driver’s license, birth certificate, or valid state ID) must be presented to Administrator in order to claim the grand prize. Administrator is not required to honor other forms of identification or any identification that has been tampered with or altered in any way.
One person using the grand prize must be 21 years or older.
Winners are responsible for all other expenses as listed under Conditions in the contest rules. Administrator will not provide any money for any expenses incurred as a result of claiming or using the prize, including but not limited to transportation, meals, clothing, and other incidental expenses incurred while claiming or using the prize.
Administrator reserves the right to use contest winners’ name, voice, photograph, and/or likeness for promotional/publicity purposes at any time without advance permission or knowledge required, and without additional compensation or limitations.
The prize certificate has no cash value and may not be sold, bartered, or purchased. The prize cannot be used in the promotion of any business or organization.
Lost or stolen or otherwise destroyed prize certificate will not be replaced. Only the original prize certificate are valid. Reprints and/or reproductions of the prize certificate are prohibited.
Administrator reserves the right to final decision in all matters regarding the contest.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, which can arise from time to time, the Chevy Trucks Outdoor Adventure with Bob Redfern contest may be discontinued at any time during the promotional period.
This contest is applicable only to applications submitted on the Administrator's website.
LIMITATIONS:
Bob Redfern’s Outdoor Magazine Inc., its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, officers, directors, agents, or employees and Chevrolet Motor Division,General Motors Corporation, its directors or employees are not responsible for any expenses the winners incur due to illness, injury, or loss of life in claiming or using the prize.
RULES:
Any person violating any of the above rules may be required to forfeit the prize. Odds in winning the grand prize 1:6,000,000
