McLeod Farms’ Strawberry Nut Cake
1 box yellow cake mix 1/2 cup milk
1 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jello 1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup Crisco oil 1 cup coconut
1 cup McLeod Farms’ strawberries, mashed 4 eggs
Combine all ingredients in a large mixer (except pecans and coconut) until well
blended. Stir in pecans and coconut.
Lightly grease 3 layer pans with Baker’s Joy and pour mixture.
Bake for approximately 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
Strawberry Icing
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 pound powered sugar 1/2 cup coconut
1 stick butter, softened 1/2 cup McLeod Farms’ strawberries, mashed
Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Add butter.
Mix in all other ingredients.
Wait until cake is thoroughly cooled before icing.
