mac and cheese

2lbs of dry macaroni noodles

5 eggs

2 cups of milk or evaporated milk

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup of mild shredded cheese

1/4 cup of salt

 

preheat oven to 350F
prepare macaroni noodles as directed by box. when complete drain the noodles and pour in a deep
pot or mixing bowl. combine 5 eggs with milk and sirt. pour mixture over the noodles. add salt and
both cheeses to the noodles in the pot, save 1/2 cup of cheese for the top. pour mixture in a caserole
dish or deep baking pan. top with left over cheese and bake at 350F for 50 minutes or golden brown.
check the dish for firmness, if the middle is firm the dish is done. remove from oven and let stand for 15 min.
